Kimmel Wins! ARCA RE/MAX Series Up-and-Comers Rely on Champ's Experience, Advice

kimmelspeedstenhouseallgaie.jpgTOLEDO OH (8-18-08)--Frank Kimmel found himself surrounded by a group of eager young racers in the ARCA RE/MAX Series garage area at the Illinois State Fairgrounds on Sunday. Some, such as 2006 Allen Crowe 100 race winner Justin Allgaier and 2007 Springfield USAC Silver Crown winner Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., were dirt track experts in their own right. Others, such as current ARCA RE/MAX Series point leader and former Formula One driver Scott Speed, had never seen a dirt track before, let alone driven on one. Regardless of their backgrounds, ARCA RE/MAX Series drivers are smart to spend their pre-race strategizing with Kimmel.
